Scope of this policy

This policy covers personal information collected by Evoke Digital Marketing Ltd. (“Evoke”, “we”, “us”) through our website at evokedm.com, our communications with clients and prospects, and any platforms or projects we operate on your behalf.

If you're working with us on a specific engagement and have signed a separate data processing agreement, that agreement governs the project-specific data — this policy covers everything else.

02

What we collect

We only collect what we need to do our job well. That breaks down into three buckets:

  • Things you give us directly — name, email, company, phone number, and any details you include when you contact us or fill out a form.
  • Things we collect automatically — basic web analytics (page visits, referrer, approximate region, device type) so we can understand which parts of the site are useful.
  • Things you give us as a client — project files, credentials, documents, and anything else needed to deliver the work. We handle this under separate agreements.
03

How we use it

Three uses, in order of how much data each requires:

  • To respond to you. If you email or fill out a form, we use the info to reply, scope the project, and follow up.
  • To deliver the work. If you're a client, we use project information solely to do the work you hired us for.
  • To understand the website. Aggregate analytics — how many people visited, what pages they read, where they came from. Never tied to individuals.
— ImportantWe don't use your information to build advertising profiles, sell to data brokers, or train AI models on your data. Period.
04

Who we share with

We share information with three categories of third parties — only what's strictly needed, only with appropriate agreements in place:

  • Service providers — email (Google Workspace), hosting (AWS, Cloudflare), analytics (GA4), and the like. These vendors process data on our behalf under contracts that bind them to confidentiality.
  • Project partners — for some engagements we work with partners (e.g., Quoviz, Leadstream.ai). We disclose any partner involvement in the scoping conversation, and partners sign NDAs covering your data.
  • When required by law — if served with a valid legal request, we'll comply, but we'll notify you first unless prohibited.
05

Cookies & tracking

Our website uses a small number of cookies — primarily for analytics (Google Analytics 4) and for remembering your theme preference if you've used the on-page tweaks.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies, social media trackers, or cross-site tracking pixels. You can disable cookies in your browser settings without breaking the site.

06

Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as it's useful or legally required:

  • Contact form submissions — kept in our inbox indefinitely unless you ask us to delete them, since we may reference past conversations.
  • Client project data — retained for the duration of the engagement plus a reasonable period after, per the project agreement. Often destroyed on request.
  • Analytics data — GA4 default retention (14 months), with no enrichment that ties it to individuals.
07

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access — ask us what personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct — ask us to update anything that's wrong.
  • Delete — ask us to remove your information, subject to legal retention requirements.
  • Object — opt out of analytics or any non-essential processing.
  • Port — request a copy of your data in a portable format.

To exercise any of these rights, email support@evokedm.com. We'll respond within 30 days.

08

Security

We take reasonable, industry-standard measures to protect your information — encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest where appropriate, access controls on internal systems, and regular security reviews.

No system is perfectly secure. If we ever experience a breach involving your personal information, we'll notify affected parties promptly and follow applicable law.

09

Policy changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page will reflect the most recent revision. Material changes will be flagged on the home page or via email to active clients.
